(519) 622 8585At Automation Surplus Inc. (ASI), we buy and sell surplus automation parts, old, new, and prototyping equipment that is no longer required for use or testing purposes. We routinely help closing businesses clear out their old inventory, decommission old lines related to manufacturing and maintenance, and whatever we can't sell will be properly disposed of by one of our recycling partners.
Officially started in 1999, Automation Surplus Inc. (ASI) was formerly Systems Drives Controls Inc. (SDC), which was operating as a small business even before then. Starting in the basement, it was formed by a husband-and-wife team, leading on from which they created a viable business.
As the years went on, ASI grew larger in order to accommodate and serve the needs of customers, currently stocking over 15,000 parts estimating a total over 10 million dollars USD (equivalent to about 15 million CAD) worth of product in stock across our 5 storage facilities. ASI is dedicated to serving our customers' needs and sometimes dreams of what the client wants to create.
ASI is family owned and operated since then and has continued to work with keeping industrial electronics and parts out of the landfill for decades, and will continue to do so to improve the economy we live in and help people have access to cheaper electronic parts around the world.
How it Works
Every item undergoes a bench testing procedure.
Items that pass are salvaged or re-purposed.
Items that fail are sent to our trusted partners.
These companies will dispose of the e-waste properly and professionally through their channels, ensuring that nothing goes into the landfill. Certificates can be issued to prove this process.
Please think of us and future generations when disposing of automation parts. We're here to help.
